Notes:
| I took a Devore workshop with Anne Field. Three days of knitting or weaving, and then dissolving. It is a little unnerving to spend hours weaving something, and then put acid on it and watch it dissolve. It was a really fun workshop though, and there were some very beautiful things created.
I started the workshop knitting because my studio loom had a warp already on it. I am not a fast knitter however, and there was no way I was going to have anything even remotely ready to devore, so I brought in my trusty weavettes. That got half the class interested in weavettes, and I made many converts during that workshop.
The scarf was made with 6 inch squares separated with 2x6 inch spacers. The pill looking things were devored out. The 6 inch squares are wool and a space dyed rayon. The spacers were wool and silk. The rayon is what dissolved leaving the wool and silk behind.
