Notes:

This is my second set of Guatemala inspired towels. I tried using Cottolin for the first time. A bit rough to warp, but very nice to weave with. Not quite as brightly colored as some of the Guatemalan textiles we saw, but I'm happy with the result. I haven't washed them yet, so I'm curious to see how they are going to finish.

I got quite a surprise when I washed these. My original intent was for warpfaced towels, but the sett didn't work for that, and I wasn't going to warp anymore, so I used a cream colored cotton weft. It dulled the colors a bit, but kept them in the correct proportion. When I used a red or green weft, those colors in the warp wanted to pop too much. Anyway, after washing, the cotton weft shrunk more than the cottolin, and it became warp faced! The red is very red again!
